Facility

Facility equipment affects all aspects of our grinding operations. We use the best equipment, maintained to the highest standards, to ensure smooth, controlled, precise processes.

PGS uses 1-micron filtration systems with magnetic-separation to maintain our grinding solution to the highest cleanliness standards. These systems remove swarf of 1 micron or larger from our grinding medium, ensuring the smoothest, finest, most accurate ground surfaces.

Our high-capacity environmental control systems maintain our facility temperature to within 1°F year-round. This removes the possibility of inaccuracy due to thermal changes in either product or measuring device.

Our pneumatics system includes multiple compressors, tanks, filter/driers, and local regulators as needed to ensure that every piece of equipment receives extremely dry, accurately-pressurized air.
